.I love being spontaneous with ideas for small styled shoots, Sam Berney who is one of the owners of Hockering House was kind enough to allow us into her home for an impromptu Bridal Shoot. Together with some of the finest Norfolk Wedding Suppliers we created some stunning looks which are timeless, elegant and will give some inspiration to future Brides.
I wanted t showcase what we can offer brides with our hair and makeup service, we created a number of different styles which will appeal to a wide variety of people.
The colour theme for this shoot was burn oranges with creams and fresh greenery, I adore orange, its such a positive colour and always looks fresh and vibrant.
Hair and Makeup for our models was light and fresh with dewy foundation, using Dior Forever kept the models skin looking delightfully glowing throughout the shoot, the weather was not in our favour but the makeup still looked amazing even in dull light! We also had an amazing photographer in Jemma Mickleburgh who made the light work in our favour.
If you are looking for a spring wedding these colours could be fantastic, oranges and golds will look wonderful with fresh spring colours of rich vibrant greens. Alternatively they look just as gorgeous for Autumn with burnt oranges and golden browns.
Your makeup should reflect your colour scheme but not follow it necessarily. I have used peach tones on the Alicia who has the long Braid, using a coral lip ties the look together and with a bronzer rather than a blush on her cheeks adds depth of colour.
Braids are still very ‘en fleek’ for 2019, using lots of different textures with your hair, adding dried or fresh flowers instantly draws the eye and creates a beautiful silhouette.
