TERMS & CONDITIONS
MAKING A BOOKING
We take a £75 initial deposit or 15% on Wedding packages over £600 at the time of booking to confirm your artist/stylist for your wedding date, this covers your Consultation and Trial with your designated Artist/Stylists.
Paying this deposit is your agreement to our Terms and Conditions.
We do not charge VAT.
Your wedding date is confirmed only once we have received your booking deposit by bank transfer.
Once the deposit is received you will receive a booking confirmation email confirming the details of your booking.
The booking deposit is non-refundable unless cancelled by Amanda Steed.
Any discount applied at time of booking only applies at this time and does not apply when adding on extra services at a later date.
All further payments after the booking deposit (at your bridal trial or before the wedding) are non-refundable if the booking is cancelled less than 8 weeks before the wedding date.
We take 50% of the remaining balance at or just after the trial via Bank Transfer, the remaining balance is due a minimum of two weeks prior to the Wedding date unless otherwise stated by Email.
MINIMUM BOOKING SIZE
We reserve the right to insist on a minimum bridal booking party size of Bride plus 3 full paying Adults during our busy months and on Saturdays, stated on website April to October.
We are unable reduce the size of your booking once the deposit has been paid this is due to the Stylists being booked for your Wedding on receipt of deposit. Bookings can be increased in size only after discussion with Amanda Steed directly not one of the stylists appointed.
Trials and consultations will be held during the week Monday to Friday at ‘The Studio’ Laceys Cottage, Great Heath Road, North Elmham NR20 5EY (weekend dates only Specifically requested by Artist or Amanda Steed.) Please note that Saturdays are strictly reserved for Weddings during the months of April to September some Saturday afternoons or Sundays may be available by request only, We advise taking a days annual leave for your trial. On average a trial and consultation will take approximately 2.5 hours for hair and makeup.
The cost of the artist’s travel is covered by the bride. Travel is charged at 45p per mile after 20 miles from the artist’s postcode inclusive of return journey.
If the artist is travelling by public transport the artist will give you a quote for this. (International bookings.)
Parking costs are chargeable to the client.
Travel is calculated at time of Booking by Amanda Steed.
In the very unlikely circumstance that your hair or makeup artist is sick on your wedding day we have a team of trusted artists who will assist us in completing your booking. Should we be unable to find an artist of the standard and quality we provide a full refund will be given, not including the deposit.
This has never happened before.
YOUR WEDDING TRIAL
It is the client’s responsibility to inform the artist of any allergies, medical conditions or sensitivities.
The trial is normally 1-4 months before the wedding date and is held at The Studio in North Elmham or at Clients home by prior request with travel expenses added from the artists home postcode. Your artist will be able to advise you of their availability and location.
Individual lash application is included in the price for the makeup service for the Bride only, other guests are charged £7 for lashes which is payable before the Wedding Date. There is no reduction in price for any makeup service if they are declined.
If you would like to have your trial at your home, then travel is charged by Amanda Steed at the rate stated above.
If you were not happy with your trial for hair and/or makeup and choose not to go forward with your booking your deposit of £75 has covered your trial and no other payment will be required.
The packages include a trial for the bride only. However, trials for other bridal party members can be added on for an extra cost.
Photographic/video images of the client, members of the booking or event may be used by the artist on social media unless the client has expressly withdrawn their consent in writing.
